Complaining is Draining

Complaining is draining for sure!

AND...

God cares about our attitude.

Yes, he does.

And guess what!

He considers complaining a sin because it takes our focus off of Him, steals our joy, and circumvents what He is trying to teach us in our circumstances.

God knows we live in an imperfect world and every day will bring imperfect moments.

And so He says: "Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God" (Philippians 2:14-15).

Today and every day actually, you have a choice. Choose to focus on everything you don't like, complain, be irritable and ungrateful

OR

Choose to focus on the good, do what you can to overcome the not so good, decide to have an attitude of praise and find things to be thankful for.

Because the only person you ultimately hurt by complaining is you. (and the ones you love). You and your relationships suffer because no-one enjoys or admirers a complainer.

Refuse today to complain or allow others to complain to you. Then do it again tomorrow and the day after that and on and on. And then watch your joy grow!

Because, as the title says, complaining is draining, and complaininig definitely does not lead to joy.
